Pence postpones Pleasant Prairie visit

Vice President Mike Pence’s planned visit to Pleasant Prairie Thursday is being postponed so he can lead a delegation to Turkey, according to the White House. Pence was to visit the Uline Warehouse near Kenosha to discuss the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement as part of an America First Policies event. Pence is instead to meet Thursday with Turkish President Erdogan. The Pleasant Prairie event has been rescheduled to Oct. 23, according to America First Policies.

Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction: Releases numbers on general school funding

The Department of Public Instruction posted information today that supports school districts as they plan for state general school aids they will receive during the current school year. The numbers include general school aids estimates and student enrollment numbers for independent charter schools and private schools participating in state parental choice programs.
