Milwaukee’s National Night Out, ‘Safety is everybody’s business’

Milwaukee’s National Night Out Continues on Wednesday
“Safety is Everybody’s Business” at Hillside Event

MILWAUKEE – While many National Night Out events have passed, the Hillside National Night Out celebration is being held Thursday, August 9 in recognition that everyone should make safety a priority every night.

The Hillside TALK Campaign, in association with Milwaukee’s 5th District Police Station, Pieper-Hillside Boys & Girls Club and the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM), will host the annual event from 4 pm – 7 pm at the Hillside Family Resource Center, 1452 N. 7th Street.

The celebration will include fun activities, music and food for the whole family, and the 5th District will provide presentations on human trafficking, drugs, gun violence and child safety.

The TALK Campaign (Take Action, Listen & Know) is a group of Hillside neighborhood partners who advocate for safety, awareness, and peace in the community.
