Announcing the Second Annual Wisconsin Leadership Summit!

WLS-Recap

We’re thrilled to announce that Madison365 and FoxValley365, the state’s leading news outlets for communities of color, will host Second Annual Wisconsin Leadership Summit will take place October 7 and 8 at Overture Center for the Arts in downtown Madison, Wisconsin — and I hope you can join us.

The most influential African American and Latino leaders from across Wisconsin, as named in Madison365’s Black Power and Sí Se Puede lists over the past four years, will gather along with business leaders, community members, college and high school students and anyone who wishes to engage in important discussions around diversity, inclusion, equity and talent retention at Overture Center for the Arts and Madison Museum of Contemporary Art on October 7 and 8, 2019, at the second annual Wisconsin Leadership Summit.

Here’s our CEO Henry Sanders:

You’ll also be able to register to spend time with and learn from these influential leaders from the business, nonprofit, education and government sectors, as well as college and high school students — and make your voice heard, too, on all the real and important issues facing people of color in Wisconsin.

The first Wisconsin Leadership Summit in October of last year exceeded all of our expectations. Everyone in attendance brought something important to the table, and we all came away with real ideas to improve the climate for people of color in Wisconsin, not to mention new friendships and connections. We’re very excited to make it happen again and build on that success, and grateful to Overture Center and MMoCA for hosting us and being great partners.
