A pro-Trump super PAC is up with a new ad in Wisconsin knocking Joe Biden on China.
America First Action PAC said it spent $2.7 million on the buys in the Wausau, La Crosse and Green Bay media markets. It includes broadcast TV, cable, digital and radio.
It’s the second ad from the group hitting Biden on China, this time focusing on COVID-19.
The narrator says China hid “their outbreak from the world” and blamed America before playing clips of Biden.
“This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria xenophobia,” Biden says in one clip.
The narrator says Biden’s plan is to “protect China” and he has defended the country for four decades.
“To stop China, you have to stop Joe Biden,” the narrator says to close the spot.
Meanwhile, American Bridge ran new ads just before and after President Trump’s virtual town hall Sunday night on Fox News.
The spot ran on cable in Green Bay, La Crosse and Wausau.
The ad plays clips of Trump saying “there has been so much unnecessary death in this country” and it could’ve been stopped “but somebody a long time ago, it seems, decided not to do it that way.”
