Joe Biden’s campaign rolled out three new TV ads in Wisconsin, including one featuring a woman saying, “We need a president who will protect our health care.”
Biden’s campaign said the ads are part of a $65 million paid media program this week that includes TV, radio, digital, print and other mediums. But it didn’t release details on how much of that would be spent in Wisconsin.
The spots include a 30-second ad in which a woman recounts her son Beckett’s fight against leukemia and how his sister would rub the boy’s back to comfort him when he got sick.
“If Donald Trump gets rid of our healthcare law, my son won’t be protected,” the woman says. “We would have to be making some tough decisions about which medications we could afford.”
The other two ads are 15-second spots that include excerpts from Biden speeches. One features Biden’s acceptance speech from the Dem convention when he charged Trump has “failed to protect us” and promises to protect America “without exception, every time.”
In the other, Biden says the country can’t experience an economic recovery when almost a thousand Americans die each day from COVID-19 and then demands, “Mr. President, do your job.”
