Joe Biden’s presidential campaign is running a new digital ad in Wisconsin in which the presumptive Dem nominee says the “country is crying out for leadership.”
Biden’s campaign said the ad will run statewide on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. It declined to say how much it was spending on the buy, which includes a version that will run with Spanish captions.
The ad includes comments Biden made in Philadelphia yesterday, interspersed with scenes of recent protests, President Trump standing in front of a Washington, D.C., church posing with a Bible, and the 2017 protest by white nationalists in Charlottesville, Va.
Biden says in the ad the presidency is a big job and that he won’t get everything right.
“But I promise you this: I won’t traffic in fear and division. I won’t fan the flames of hate. I’ll seek to heal the racial wounds that have long plagued our country, not use them for political gain,” he says.
