The conservative Restoration PAC today announced a new $2 million TV buy in Wisconsin hitting Joe Biden over false claims he made about his academic credentials during his 1987 presidential run.

The group, which has been regularly polling in Wisconsin, said the ad will begin tomorrow and run through July 21 on broadcast and cable in all media markets.

The spot opens with the narrator saying Biden has “never been president for good reason.” It then shows an exchange Biden had with a reporter in which he says “I think I probably have a much higher IQ than you do.” Biden then says he went to law school on a full academic scholarship, graduated in the top half of his class, was the outstanding student in the political science department and graduated with three degrees.

The ad then switches to media coverage of Biden acknowledging he went to school on a half scholarship, graduated in the bottom half of his class, wasn’t the outstanding student in the political science department and graduated with one degree.

The narrator closes the spot: “Joe Biden, unsuited then, unsuited now.”
