The UW-Madison Elections Research Center announced it will poll in the Midwestern battleground states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
The effort includes polling all three states in February immediately after this week’s New Hampshire primary, again before the national conventions this summer with a final poll during the general election.
The Elections Research Center is partnering with the Wisconsin State Journal for polling conducted in Wisconsin.
The surveys will be conducted by YouGov, which does surveys for CBS News, the Economist and others. Its methodology includes online surveys with respondents selected from an opt-in panel. The sample is then weighted for demographics such as gender, age, race and education.
The pollster has a B-minus rating from FiveThirtyEight.
