WisPolitics.com’s 2nd Annual Midwest Polling Summit explored the latest numbers in the presidential race and the issues that are moving voters as Election Day nears.

Day 1 of the event, held Thursday, featured a look at top election issues with Pew Research Center’s director of political research, Carroll Doherty. AARP pollster Amy Levin also talked about her swing state polling, including Wisconsin.

Today, a panel of five polling experts analyzed key elements of the presidential horse race.

Panelists included: Charles Franklin, director of the Marquette University Law School Poll; Ray Block, associate professor in the Department of Political Science and Department of African American Studies at Penn State; Emily Swanson, director of public opinion research for the Associated Press; Sarah Simmons, a Republican strategist and polling expert; and Barry Burden, director of UW-Madison’s Elections Research Center.
