The Elections Commission decided to delay fulfilling a request for voter information spearheaded by Rep. Janel Brandtjen until seeing if she will still chair the Assembly Campaigns and Elections Committee in the 2023-24 legislative session.

Brandtjen, R-Menomonee Falls, has been seeking the state's complete voter list, including emails and phone numbers for those registered. But several members during Wednesday's meeting expressed concern over giving Brandtjen the information, which includes voters' email addresses and phone numbers, without an agreement to ensure it remains confidential.
