Cook Political Report has moved Wisconsin’s 3rd CD to “likely Republican” from “lean Republican.”
The outlet’s summary of the changes is behind a paywall. But it listed 10 House rating changes today on Twitter, including the 3rd, where Republican Derrick Van Orden faces Dem state Sen. Brad Pfaff in the race to pick a successor to longtime incumbent Dem Ron Kind of La Crosse.
The move comes after House Majority PAC cut in half its ad buy for Pfaff over the final two weeks in the race.
The University of Virginia’s “Crystal Ball” earlier this month moved the 3rd to “likely Republican” as well.
