Dem U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Godlewski says she raised $2.1 million during the first quarter, including a $1.5 million contribution the state treasurer gave her campaign.

Godlewski’s campaign says she finished March with more than $1.6 million in the bank.

Godlewski released an overview of her fundraising ahead of tomorrow’s filing deadline with the FEC.

Dem rival Mandela Barnes earlier announced he raised $1.7 million during the three-month period. That put Barnes at more than $4 million raised since getting into the race.

Godlewski’s campaign wrote in a memo released today she has now given her campaign nearly $3.3 million. She’s now raised more than $5 million since getting into the race.

Godlewski’s campaign didn’t say how much she spent during the most recent quarter, when she went up on the air with the first TV ads of her bid. She finished 2021 with $1.3 million in the bank, according to her most recent FEC filing. That means she spent about $1.8 million of what she took in during the most recent quarter.
