Hand recount in Washington County finds few issues

Washington County Clerk Ashley Reichert after finishing her hand recount of the midterm election results said there were only issues with two ballots.

Reichert told WisPolitics.com two ballots jammed while going through ballot counting machines on Election Day out of the 74,525 ballots cast. That’s not enough to change who won, but Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes picked up two more votes, Gov. Tony Evers picked up another and U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Oshkosh, lost one vote.
