Kelly formally announces Supreme Court bid

Former Wisconsin Justice Daniel Kelly officially announced he is running again for a spot on the bench in a race that will determine the ideological balance of the state Supreme Court.

Kelly, a conservative who was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2016 by former Gov. Scott Walker and lost a 2020 campaign to keep his seat, has been publicly mulling a bid for months.
