Michels blasts Evers for rising crime in Milwaukee


Republican gubernatorial candidate Tim Michels blamed Gov. Tony Evers' Parole Commission for rising crime in Milwaukee and said he would make sure there are enough prison cells to keep criminals locked up.

Michels during a news conference outside the Milwaukee Police Department's Neighborhood Task Force headquarters said Evers "coddles criminals" and slammed him for the over 900 people who have been granted parole so far under his administration.
