Joe Biden’s campaign today released the first Wisconsin-specific ad of his reelection bid featuring a cement mason from Milwaukee who says what the president has accomplished “is actually helping real people.”

The spot is part of an eight-state, 16-week, $25 million buy Biden’s campaign announced over the weekend. The Wisconsin spot will begin running tomorrow in the Milwaukee market ahead of the GOP presidential debate.

The ad comes as Biden has faced a string of polls showing voters have a negative view of the economy. It features Kilah Engelke, a mother of two, who says Biden “understands people like me” and the people she deals with on a daily basis are getting a raise.

“All of the things that Biden fought to get passed help the middle class,” she says in the spot. “
