Groups seek order declaring ballot drop boxes legal one year after state Supreme Court barred their use

A year after the outgoing conservative majority on the state Supreme Court banned drop boxes, two groups filed suit in Dane County Circuit Court seeking a declaration that they're legal.
Thursday's filing comes days before Justice-elect Janet Protasiewicz joins the court, flipping the majority to 4-3 in favor of liberals.
