A Dane County judge has rejected a request from GOP lawmakers to dismiss a lawsuit seeking to overturn Elections Commission guidance on what constitutes a complete address from a witness who signs an absentee ballot envelope.
The lawmakers had argued the core interpretation of absentee ballot laws was incorrect and the case must be dismissed.
