The state Supreme Court has rejected a suit by two backers of liberal Janet Protasiewicz who wanted an emergency order preventing the Assembly from conducting impeachment proceedings against any Wisconsin justice.
The court issued a short order late Wednesday declining -- without comment -- to take original action. Protasiewicz didn't participate in the suit.
