Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Madison today for a rally.
Ahead of the stop, Harris’ campaign released a memo touting the opening of the 50th coordinated campaign office in Wisconsin next to the UW-Madison campus. According to the memo, the Dems’ coordinated campaign now has more than 250 full-time staff in Wisconsin. The new office is dedicated to turning out students at UW-Madison and the Madison Area Technical College.
The campaign says it is working to “drive up the vote score” in Dane County, where Joe Biden won 75.4% of the vote in 2020 and Dem Gov. Tony Evers took 78.6% in 2022.
