Public memorial for former U.S. Sen. Kohl set for Jan. 12

The public memorial service for former U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl, D-Milwaukee, will be Jan. 12 at the Fiserv Forum, home to the NBA team he once owned.
The invitation to the noon service asks that memorial donations be made to the LaFollette School of Public Affairs, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and Wisconsin teachers’ classroom projects through DonorsChoose.org.
