The conservative Americans for Prosperity reported a $1 million digital buy to support Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Brad Schimel in this spring’s Supreme Court race.
That pushes the group’s investment in the race to more than $1.3 million since mid-November.
A spokesperson said the $1 million covers digital ads that will run through April 1, when Schimel faces Dane County Circuit Court Judge Susan Crawford. The initial buy will include spots on Facebook and other social media before spots are added in later on YouTube and streaming services, the spokesperson said.
The first ads in the buy include one promoting Schimel and another urging a vote for him.
