Mitchell Berman has won the Democratic nomination for Wisconsin’s 1st CD as the party attempts to flip the seat.
Berman, an emergency nurse from Racine, will face GOP incumbent U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Janesville, in November.
Berman had secured 42.7% of the votes at the time AP called the race with 54% of votes counted.
