The Republican Assembly Campaign Committee raised $4.5 million through its main account over the last half of 2025, thanks largely to seven-figure donations from GOP megadonors Elizabeth Uihlein and Diane Hendricks.

A check of RACC’s filing shows Uihlein donated $3 million to the campaign committee in October, while Hendricks gave $1 million in mid-December.

Meanwhile, Hendricks gave $1,000 to the Committee to Elect a Republican Senate during the most recent reporting period, while Uihlein didn’t send any donations to the committee.

The seven-figure contributions helped RACC outraise its Dem counterpart 4-to-1 during the fundraising period. Meanwhile, the State Senate Democratic Committee outraised CERS more than 2-to-1.

The reports, filed Thursday, show how much each caucus has in the bank to start 2026, when control of both chambers will be up for grabs. Republicans began this session with an 18-15 majority in the Senate and a 54-45 edge in the Assembly.

RACC led the way with $5.2 million in the bank, while the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee reported $241,062.

CERS had $728,683 cash on hand, while the SSDC had $446,606.

Besides the seven-figure donations from Uihlein and Hendricks, RACC’s biggest donation during the period was $100,000 from Chicago developer Jack Shaffer.

RACC reported $42,352 in expenses over the last half of 2025.

The ADCC, meanwhile, reported $1.1 million in receipts and $1.2 million in disbursements.

The ADCC’s biggest donation was $175,000 from Reid Hoffman, the founder of LinkedIn. It also received $100,000 each from David Hall, of Pewaukee, and Lynde Uihlein, a longtime Dem donor from Milwaukee. The committee also reported five donations of $50,000, including one from the state Dem party.

The bulk of the ADCC’s spending was the $1 million it transferred to Rep. Steven Doyle. The Onalaska lawmaker is a perpetual GOP target and the only Dem member of the Assembly who won a district where Donald Trump took more votes in 2024 than Kamala Harris in the presidential race.

Lynde Uihlein also gave $100,000 to the State Senate Democratic Campaign as it raised $771,871 over the six-month period.

The committee also reported $478,999 in expenses as it listed three $50,000 donations from: David Hall, of Madison; Wendy Munger, of Pasadena, California; and Sarah O’Neil, of New York.

CERS reported $306,674 in receipts, $21,250 in expenses and $7,797 in in-kind expenses.

The committee’s largest donation was $50,000 from the campaign of Senate President Mary Felzkowski, R-Tomahawk.

The committees also filed reports detailing fundraising by their segregated accounts, which can accept donations from businesses but can’t be used directly for electioneering.
