Lancaster Mayor David Varnam won the GOP primary for lt. governor and will now run on a ticket with GOP gubernatorial nominee Tom Tiffany.
Varnam beat Will Martin, a small business owner from Racine, 54.1% to 45.8%, with 60% of the votes counted. Martin had been endorsed by the state GOP at its convention in May.
