The state Dem Party outraised its GOP counterpart 4-to-1 last month through federal accounts.

WisDems also spent more than it took in during May.

The state Dem Party reported $772,285 in receipts last month, $929,461 in expenses and more than $1.3 million in the bank.

The party reported $364,436 in donations from individuals, including $91,422 in unitemized donations from those giving less than $200. It also reported $374,487 in transfers from the party’s state account.

The state GOP, meanwhile, reported $185,756 in receipts, $142,836 in expenses and $905,340 in cash.

The party took in $81,209 from individuals, including $31,358 in unitemized contributions.

The two parties are required to file monthly reports detailing activities through their federal accounts. The state GOP hasn’t outraised the Dems through its federal account since February 2021.
