The Assembly gaveled in this morning to vote on a series of joint resolutions before taking up the Foxconn bill.
The Senate passed an amended $3 billion incentive package for the Taiwanese tech company on Tuesday, which included changes relating to the appeals process for any court decisions on Foxconn and strengthening the oversight process over how the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation verifies tax credits.
The Assembly’s expected to sign off on that version today without making any further changes, sending it to Gov. Scott Walker’s desk.
Meanwhile, among the resolutions the Assembly is voting on today is one proclaiming September 2017 as Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and another commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
