Bill would let robots make deliveries on sidewalks

The hearing also featured a 35-pound cooler-shaped and Estonia-made delivery robot from the European company Starship Technologies, whose representatives spoke in favor of the bill.
That legislation, SB 148, would help show Wisconsin is responsive to new business technologies, identify the state as a national tech leader and encourage entrepreneurs to experiment with "innovative solutions," GOP bill authors Sen. Chris Kapenga and Rep. Mike Kuglitsch said.
