Citizen Action slams GOP health care bill premium increases for older, lower-income adults

Older and lower-income adults across the state would pay on average some $9,800 more a year in premiums under the GOP health care plan, according to a report today from the liberal-leaning group Citizen Action of Wisconsin.
The group found the increase in costs for 64-year-olds making $26,500 a year would range from around $5,300 to just over $13,000 when buying health insurance individually. That's based on the current amount paid under the Affordable Care Act, and varies by location.
