Dem bill would let patients have their surgeries videotaped

One Dem lawmaker is looking to give patients the option of having their surgeries videotaped.
The bill, from Rep. Christine Sinicki, D-Milwaukee, would then require that footage to be stored indefinitely and confidentially as part of a patient’s medical record. It could then be used in any civil or criminal action, including to protect doctors accused of malpractice, she said.
