Dems want to prevent state investment in companies involved with Trump’s border wall

A group of state Dems today announced a bill barring state investment in companies that would work on President Trump's proposed border wall.
Reps. JoCasta Zamarripa and Lisa Subeck, who unveiled the proposal at a Capitol press conference, pointed to the state's rich history of immigration and said Wisconsin should distance itself from the project.
"Donald Trump's proposed wall is divisive and sends a dangerous message to Americans and Wisconsinites that those on the other side of the wall are dangerous and that immigrants are dangerous," Zamarripa, D-Milwaukee, said.
