The state Dem party is running digital ads for the next week slamming Wisconsin House GOP members for supporting the American Health Care Act.

The ads will run in the members’ districts and say each of them “voted to kick 23 million Americans off of their health insurance.” That figure refers to the Congressional Budget Office projections that the AHCA would lead to 23 million people losing their insurance coverage by 2026.

The ads direct people to call their congressman’s office “to hold him accountable.”

A DPW spokesman declined to say how much the party was spending but said the campaign was district-wide for all of the five districts.
