Halbrooks replaces Lautenschlager as Ethics Commission chair
The Ethics Commission today unanimously elected David Halbrooks to serve as chair, following former chair Peg Lautenschlager’s resignation in April.
Halbrooks, former chair of the State Elections Board, was appointed to the commission by Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca last year. His term will run through June 30, 2018, according to commission spokesman Brian Bell.
