Hintz unsure he has enough Dem support to be new minority leader

Rep. Gordon Hintz, D-Oshkosh, said today he hopes he’s got enough support from his colleagues to be the new minority leader but that he hasn’t had extensive conversations yet.
He’s the only publicly announced candidate so far.
The caucus, he told WisPolitics.com, is 100 percent “focused on the budget and Foxconn” and he’ll pick up on those conversations he had once those proposals are wrapped up.
“I hope that [I have] everybody’s support, but you have to earn everything you get out there, and I’d be happy to serve should the caucus support me,” Hintz said.
