-- U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions in Milwaukee today announced the Eastern District of Wisconsin will get two new prosecutors to help combat violent crime.
The two are part of 40 new prosecutor positions the Department of Justice has created nationwide. Sessions said 260 additional positions are to be added in the coming months.
Announcing the new positions at the federal courthouse, Sessions noted violent crime has spiked over the last two years nationwide and in Milwaukee following two decades of decline.
