Moore says she has ‘cautious optimism’ after meeting with Trump

U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore met with President Trump to share concerns "over a disturbing trend of disregard" for African American communities and reactions to his budget and policy agenda.
Trump had invited members of the Congressional Black Caucus to meet yesterday, including Moore, to meet with him. The Milwaukee Dem said she "left the White House with a sense of cautious optimism," adding that "only time will tell" if the Trump administration will act on their recommendations.
