Rep. Tod Ohnstad was the second Dem this evening to say he’d back the Foxconn bill when the full Assembly votes on it later today.

Ohnstad, who worked with Assembly Committee on Jobs and the Economy Chair Adam Neylon on changes to the Foxconn bill, joined Dem Rep. Cory Mason in saying he’d green-light the incentive package.

While Ohnstad, D-Kenosha, said he wished more Dem amendments would have been adopted, he added if the 13,000 promised jobs materialize, this would be a “great thing” for southeastern Wisconsin.

“Five years ago today, I took a vow to work for job creation,” he said. “I meant it then and I mean it now, and I will vote yes for jobs tonight.”
