Sargent introducing bill to expand ‘sober housing’ for those recovering from addiction

One Dem lawmaker is again introducing legislation to expand "sober housing'' across the state in an effort to address what she sees as a "serious addiction epidemic."
The bill from Rep. Melissa Sargent, D-Madison, would require the Department of Health Services to allocate money to create a revolving loan fund establishing sober housing facilities, which are essentially group homes for those recovering from alcohol and drug addictions.
