Schimel announces partnership to lower cost of opioid overdose drug

Attorney General Brad Schimel today announced a partnership with a pharmaceutical company that will give first responders discounted prices for a drug that combats opioid overdoses.
Schimel told a Madison news conference there's been a "concerning" uptick in prices for naloxone, a drug that can ease or reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, but noted Adapt Pharma "has not increased prices at all."
