Soglin demands ‘clean’ DREAM Act from Congress

Madison Mayor Paul Soglin today demanded a “clean” bill to shield undocumented immigrants from deportation as he touted the ways those individuals contributed to the state’s economy.
President Trump earlier this month ordered an end to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, calling on Congress to act within six months to pass a replacement before it’s phased out.
