The Young People’s Resistance Committee is demanding that the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee takes on Sanctuary Campus status. A series of demands created by YPRC and other student organizations on campus will be announced and explained by students this Monday at 3:30PM in Spaight’s Plaza. YPRC is seeking support from the university and all facets of the Milwaukee community in implementing these changes and stipulations. YPRC invites all media outlets to attend this event and hear these demands.
The Young People’s Resistance Committee is a multinational, grassroots community organization, founded, organized, and led by Milwaukee youth. YPRC struggles for immigrant, student and worker rights.
