Walker announces Haribo candy maker building $242 million plant in Kenosha County

Gov. Scott Walker announced today Germany-based Haribo is building a $242 million plant in Kenosha County, the candy maker's first facility in North America.
He also used the news conference to announce the state's unemployment rate in February dipped to 3.7 percent, the lowest it's been since 2000.
Walker said the project, slated for completion in 2020, is expected to create 400 jobs initially, though he said more could be added. Walker's office said the project is one of the largest investments on new operations in state history by an overseas company.
