WED PM Update: Lagging lottery sales put pressure on meeting Walker tax promise

-- Gov. Scott Walker has vowed to veto the entire budget if it results in a property tax bill that's higher in 2018 than it was in 2014. But the budget he sent lawmakers fails to meet that standard because lagging lottery sales mean a key credit on homeowners' bills is now projected to fall short of the administration's expectations.
A Walker spokesman acknowledged to WisPolitics.com today the guv will need help from lawmakers to keep property taxes under what they were on bills sent out in 2014, the year the guv is using to draw a line in the sand in his discussions ...
