As I sat through Governor Walker’s State of the State Address on Jan. 24, I found myself reflecting back on the stark, obvious contrast of where our state stands today compared to 2010 when I first ran for the State Assembly seat I am honored to hold.

John Bolton’s super PAC released polling suggesting the ad it ran in the Green Bay market praising GOP U.S. Senate candidate Kevin Nicholson drove up his favorable ratings with primary voters. The spot, which aired last month, focused on national security and Nicholson’s military background declaring, “It’s time to send a Marine to the U.S. Senate.” Polling conducted for the super PAC found Nicholson’s favorable rating among primary voters in the Green Bay market was 22 percent before the spot ad and 44 percent afterward.
