Last week, I sent a letter to the President of Marquette University, Dr. Lovell, regarding homelessness in Milwaukee and proposed the possibility of opening up the vacant Ramada Inn as a temporary homeless shelter. Milwaukee, WI – This morning at about 4:50 a.m. an inmate assigned to work duty ran from the dock area where the inmate and a correctional officer were taking out trash. The inmate, Douglas Slock II, age 45, of Greendale, was in custody since September 30 on charges of OWI-5th offense, and prior Burglary and Bail Jumping charges.
