Flynn promises to legalize marijuana, raise minimum wage, get rid of Act 10

Guv hopeful Matt Flynn promised Dem activists he would legalize marijuana, raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour and “get rid of Act 10 once and for all.”

Flynn, a former state party chair, also took aim at Foxconn, saying as a litigator, he is the most qualified candidate to take on Gov. Scott Walker.

“It’s a crooked deal, and I’m going to put an end to it,” he said.

A Navy veteran, Flynn said everyone in the room was his shipmate, and it’s time to stop the state from going backward, instead looking forward again.

“My fellow Democrats, it’s time to make the waters of the blue wave wash over the state Capitol, wash out the Republicans, wash out their corruption,” he said.

Flynn represented the Milwaukee Archdiocese during a priest abuse scandal and has faced calls from some to drop out. As he was introduced, some activists in the back of the room booed.
