-- Sen. Mark Miller highlights Stroke Awareness Month in this week's Dem radio address.
The Monona Dem tells listeners it's "important to know the signs" of a stroke, including face drooping, arm weakness and speech difficulty. Knowing what a stroke looks like, he says, can increase the speed of treatment and improve patient recovery outcomes.
"Getting the right treatment as quickly as possible is key," he said. "Urgency and action can make a difference."
