-- U.S. Sens. Ron Johnson and Tammy Baldwin joined a majority of their colleagues today in voting for a short term funding bill that will keep the government going for three weeks.
Senators allowed the government to shut down midnight Friday after failing to come to an agreement. The bill today, which passed the Senate 81-18 with the support of nearly all Republicans and most Democrats, ends the shutdown and extends funding through Feb. 8. It includes Children's Health Insurance Program funding.
