Senate Minority Leader Jennifer Shilling has appointed Madison attorney Tamara Packard to the state Ethics Commission.
Packard replaces Dem appointee Jeralyn Wendelberger, who resigned from the body last month so she could go to work for a group that lobbies the state.
“Tamara is a highly respected advocate for Wisconsin families and will bring a wealth of personal experience and expertise to the Ethics Commission,” Shilling, D-La Crosse, said in a statement.
Her appointment is effective today, according to the statement. The term expires May 1, 2019.
