-- Former state Rep. Kelda Roys topped the Dem guv field for fundraising during the first half of the year, but that was largely due to a $255,000 personal loan she gave the campaign, according to a check of campaign finance reports.
Roys, of Madison, raised $676,928, spent $160,174 and had $667,762 in the bank to end June.
That was the biggest cash-on-hand figure of any Dem guv candidate going into the final sprint to the Aug. 14 primary.
